Baltimore County Public Schools support the philosophy that a quality interscholastic athletic program is vital to the positive social, emotional, physical, and educational development of students. The interscholastic athletic program enhances and supports the mission of the school system to increase student achievement.
Here at LRTA we offer 9 interscholastic sports teams which are spread across three sporting seasons and are grouped as such below. Follow our LRTA Athletics Schoology page for all updates. WWCM-D6KK-75M93

- For Eligibility Requirements, see LRTA expectations document. If a student is not eligible to participate, they will not be allowed to try out, even if all of the following steps are completed.
- Complete the registration process through FOCUS. This is a new process for the 24'-25' school year, please take a look at the directions sheet that is attached. Parents/Guardians are to complete the forms, not students.
- Get a physical completed by a doctor and upload the physical through FOCUS. It is recommended that you print the document out and take it with you to the doctor. Physicals can be completed by your doctor/pediatrician or by local Urgent Cares if you are having a tough time getting into your doctor in a timely fashion. Physicals are good for one calendar year so a physical completed at the beginning of this school year will last until the same date next school year.
- Keep an eye on your registration status on FOCUS, if it is accepted, you student-athlete is set for tryouts. If it is not accepted, you will receive some sort of update on the status on FOCUS explaining why. If you have more questions, feel free to reach out to our Athletic Advisor, Kevin Atkins, through e-mail at [email protected].
