Greetings, Loch Raven Technical Academy Families,
My name is Heather Caulton, and I am honored to be principal of our school community. As a career educator of 33 years, I have committed my work to supporting students by creating a safe and orderly environment, tapping into each student’s unique gifts and talents, and promoting skill-based, data-informed instruction. My values center around communication, collaboration and approaching tasks with a spirit of excellence and I look forward to working with all of you in realizing our collective values, vision, and mission for LRTA.
I believe that growth is achieved by the books that you read, the people that you meet and the places that you go- that’s how forward movement is obtained, and I am excited to align that belief with our district’s goal of raising the bar, closing achievement gaps, and preparing our students for the future.
I’m looking forward to a productive year “on purpose”!!
