I am excited to begin my 9th year teaching at Loch Raven Academy. This year I will be teaching 8th grade Algebra 1 and Math 8.
A little bit about me:
I grew up in Baltimore County and graduated from Eastern Technical High School. After high school I went to Frostburg State University in Western Maryland. Go Bobcats!!! At Frostburg I earned my degree in Elementary and Middle School Education. Since then I have earned my Masters degree from The University of Phoenix in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Mathematics.
I love both the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. I also play in a touch football league with my friends on the weekends. I have 1 nephew who will be turning 7 in January. I also a goddaughter who is 7 and starting 2nd grade this year. I also like to consider myself a very crafty person. I like to be able to say that I was able to make some of the items in my home that people like the most.
